Saint Chamas

saint chamasOwes its name to Amantius Sanctus (St. Amans), bishop of Rodez. In the 7th century, a chapel surrounded by fortifications was built on the hill, thus giving rise to the city. The village is divided into two parts by the Baou Hill. From the safre blue and limestone, arise the two main areas, the Pertuis and the Delà. This little Provençal villages boasts original geographical and topographical features
